Often referred to as Hawaiian checkers, Kōnane was enjoyed by Hawaiian aliʻi and has been passed down through generations as a game of strategy, skill, and thoughtful competition. Participants will compete for the title of tournament champion and the opportunity to win a beautifully engraved Kōnane board while celebrating the enduring legacy of King Kamehameha I and the rich cultural traditions of Hawaiʻi.
