Kōnane Tournament
Join us in celebrating King Kamehameha Day with a special Kōnane Tournament, honoring one of Hawaiʻi’s most cherished traditional games. Often referred to as Hawaiian checkers, Kōnane was enjoyed by Hawaiian aliʻi and has been passed down through generations as a game of strategy, skill, and thoughtful competition. Participants will compete for the title of tournament champion and the opportunity to win a beautifully engraved Kōnane board while celebrating the enduring legacy of King Kamehameha I and the rich cultural traditions of Hawaiʻi.
