Fairmont Kea Lani earned the distinction of ‘2015 Hotel of the Year’ for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Americas region. The all-suite and villa luxury resort was recognized by the brand for achieving best overall operating performance along with outstanding guest satisfaction.
Each year, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts selects the winner of the Hotel of the Year distinction by combining guest experience scores with financial performance. Fairmont Kea Lani earned its first place title with exceptional performance scores in each category. The Maui resort was also recognized for launching a guest problem resolution initiative aimed at empowering colleagues to minimize the steps involved in resolving guest issues. This initiative was subsequently adopted by all hotels as a best practice.
