Fairmont Kea Lani’s restaurants and bars (Kō, Nick’s Fishmarket, AMA Bar & Grill, Luana, Kea Lani Restaurant) are designated as outdoor dining and vaccination verification is not required to enjoy these venues (pursuant to Maui County Public Health Emergency Rules.) Makana Market + Cafe does not offer indoor dining, and is available to all guests (without additional requirements) for take-out.

In accordance with Governor Ige’s 8/5/21 Proclamation, all persons are required to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth when in public settings, is encouraged but not required outdoors, and may be removed while seated and actively eating or drinking.

Sourcing 90% of top-quality produce from local purveyors, Executive Chef Tylun Pang sets a lavish feast for the eyes and palette: gleaming cubes of black sesame-sprinkled ahi tuna, aromatic ti leaf-wrapped fresh catch, spicy Chinese stir fry with lotus root… ‘ono (delicious) only begins to describe it.

Take a seat in a roomy banquette under the floating roof of this chic and alluring indoor-outdoor dining room with views of lush gardens and the palms and pool beyond. Our Story

OUR STORY

Authentic, local, sustainable, rooted in history: Kō reflects this beautiful island palekaiko (paradise) we call home. The name is Hawaiian for sugarcane. Executive Chef Tylun Pang draws from family recipes passed down for generations to conjure exciting, modern cuisine that tells the story of Maui’s multicultural plantation past. And every element — the contemporary design, colors, textures, food and drink — intentionally conveys a deep respect and connection to that tradition.
