In celebration of Summer ’24 officially kicking off, Fairmont Kea Lani is thrilled to announce our robust summer programming beginning July 1st and running through September 8th, 2024.

From daily programming at our Hawaiian cultural center, Hale Kukuna, to summer stargazing and beach exploration, to dive-in movie nights and nighttime crab hunts – there is something for the entire ʻohana to enjoy all summer long.

BEACH EXPLORATION TOUR

MONDAY-FRIDAY | 12:30pm-2:00pm | Meet at Hale Kukuna

Embark on a journey of exploration with our expert guides! Learn about our traditional outrigger canoe, search for live crabs on the beach, pick fresh ʻ opihi along the shore and hold live sea urchins straight from the Pacific!

SUMMER STARGAZING

TUESDAY, THURSDAY & SUNDAY| 7:00pm-9:00pm | Paeahu Terrace

Join us under the clear Maui skies for an evening of celestial wonder. Our expert guides will lead you through an enchanting journey of the stars, planets, and constellations, sharing fascinating stories and insights along the way.

DIVE-IN MOVIES

WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY | 6:00pm-9:00pm | Upper Pool

Enjoy a dive-in movie night with the ʻohana at our Upper Pool! Complimentary sweets & treats will be provided to all in attendance in addition to AMA Bar & Grill extending their swim-up bar hours of operation.

ART, CULTURE & CHOCOLATE

THURSDAY | 10:00am-11:00am | Island Alcove (Outside of Fitness Center)

Our renowned Artist in Residence, Dale Zarrella, delights in recounting the Maui myths and legends that are the inspiration behind his life-sized bronze and rare local wood sculptures. Join Dale’s walking tour about the grounds of the resort while Dale, who has commissioned works for Popes at the Vatican, weaves his yarns. Indulge in Dale’s homemade chocolates, shaped like mini honu (turtle) at the completion of the tour.

MADE ON MAUI MARKET

NIGHTTIME CRAB HUNTING

FRIDAY | 7:00pm-8:30pm | Meet at Hale Kukuna

Polo Beach is transformed into a nighttime playground for discovery and excitement once the sun sets into the Pacific. Armed with flashlights and sand pails, explore the sandy shores under the guidance of our experienced team.

HALE KUKUNA

DAILY | 8:00am-4:00pm | Hale Kukuna

Join us for daily cultural activities within Hale Kukuna including ʻukulele lessons (9am M/W/F/Sun and 11am T/Th/Sat), hula lessons (10am M/W/F/Sun and 9am T/Th/Sat), kōnane matches (1pm M/W/F/Sun and 2pm T/Th/Sat), lei making (2pm M/W/F/Sun), ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (1pm T/Th/Sat) and a daily tour of Hale Kukuna at 10am. 

SUNDAY BRUNCH AT KŌ + CABANA FOR THE DAY
